Scholarship Assistance Recipients for 2008

Four students from Sunny Hill Primary School and Kindergarten received scholarship assistance from the Association during the Reunion Dinner in September. They are: Emerald Joyce - Primary 4; Novea Sara - Primary 4; Irena Sinories - K1C; Cheryl ak. Kulwant - K1. The Scholarships were given out by Datuk Alfred Yap on behaves of the Association to Puan Marilyn Cheng, the Head Mistress of the School, who represented the students.

Datuk Alfred Yap also made a personal donation of RM1,000 to the Scholarship Fund. Mrs. Elsa Lam Phek Yang, a very much loved former teacher of the school, also donated RM300 towards the Fund during the Reunion Dinner.

We urge more Ex-Students to donate to the Fund so that needy students who wish to recieve a Christian-based education that emphasizes the development of the Moral Character can continue their studies at Sunny Hill.
